عرضت الصّين، الثلثاء، أوّل طائرة ركاب كبيرة مُصنّعة محليّاً، بعد المصادقة عليها من قبل الجهات النّاظمة في المعرض الدوليّ الرّابع عشر للطيران والفضاء.

وكُشِفَ النقابُ عن الطّائرة التي حملت رمز "سي 919" في معرض الصّين الدوليّ للطيران والفضاء الذي تُنظّمُه الصين كلّ عامَين، ويُعدّ واحداً من أكبر معارض الطيران الدوليّة.
وحلّقت الطائرةُ في سماء مدينة تشوهاي الجنوبيّة، قبل أن تهبطَ على المدرج وسطَ حضور مئات المتفرجين.

وتأمل السلطات الصينية أن تُنافِسَ طائرتُها الجديدة التي بنتها شركةٌ تجاريّةٌ خاصّةٌ مملوكةٌ من الدولة، تصاميمَ أجنبيّةً بارزةً على غرار بوينغ 737 ماكس، وإيرباص "أيه 320".
